Normal 2B active: The normal 2 yo is busy exploring the world with their new skills of mobility, touch, taste, etc. Their attention span is generally limited to 1 minute per year of age. They are also used to getting what they want as soon as they yell for it. If this describes your kid, then s/he is totally normal.

Early-onset ADHD: Presents as a disruptive behavior disorder.Often associated with genetic syndromes, prenatal exposure to alcohol, tobacco or drugs, low birth weight, & other neurodevelopmental disorders, adhd itself is highly genetic. Ask your pediatrician about a referral to a developmental/behavioral pediatrician & a child psychologist for assessment of activity level, behavior & development. See sdbp.Org.
