WHY NOT .....?: Common age is from 4 year to adolescence and adulthood. The medication usually is started when symptoms are evident as the child starts school. Talk to the child's teacher, talk with the pediatrician. S/he will give you add/adhd checklist to be filled out by 2-3 teachers and parents, with comments/ observations.
