A couple of ways: You can either shrink the veins or fill in the tissue around the veins. Sclerotherapy will shrink the veins and generally gives lasting results for at least a couple of years. You would want to see a vein specialist to get this done. Dermal fillers can raise the tissue around the veins and make them less apparent. The results are generally quicker to be apparent but don't last as long.

Eradicate hand veins: Prominent hand veins on the top of the hand are a common problem for women. I prefer sclerotherapy for the smaller veins and , if the vein is large enough to accept a laser fiber, then i perform laser ablation of the vein just as we would do for the saphenous vein in the leg. This procedure has minimum discomfort, minimum bruising, no downtime and excellent cosmetic results.
