Yes: Different classes of medication can be mixed together. The ones that shouldn't be mixed are ones that come from the same drug class. Thus, glyburide/glipizide/glimepiride shouldn't be mixed together, januvia/onglyza/tradjenta shouldn't be mixed together, actos/avandia comes from the same class, prandin/starlix shouldn't be mixed...
