Might not dry up...: ...At all. http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.com/preg_breastfeeding_during.htm it is possible to conceive while breastfeeding, and to continue nursing throughout the pregnancy, weaning the older child if and when the younger child requires all the breastmilk that is available.

Only if you let it: I have had several mom's feed both at the same time, much as they would if they had twins. Many chose to transition the older kid to a cup after 8-9 mo when they are moving toward regular feedings, but this is something you can decide for yourself.
