Post-op pain: Pain after surgery can be difficult to manage - barring any allergies, alleve, numbing creams, or even stronger pain drugs such as narcotics (i.e. Percocet) can alleviate the pain. Non-medication choices include ice. If the pain is uncontrollable and seems to be getting worse each day, visit your surgeon.

Compartment syndrome: Post operative wrist should be evaluated by the operating surgeon as constant relieving pain could be the harbinger of underlying compartment syndrome.
