A member asked:

If you are obese does it affect trying to have a child?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can: Being obese can effect the actual mechanics of making the baby by making it difficult. Erectile problems are more common in the obese, especially if they have high blood pressure and diabetes too. Additionally, being obese affects how the body makes sex and pregnancy hormones. That being said, sometimes obese people make babies easily, and sometimes skinny people are infertile.
