Obesity childhood: The majority of childhood obesity is the result of genetics and environmental factors. Poor diet and exercise habits. A select few will be the result of medicine likes steroids, diabetic meds, and endocrine issues like hypothyroidism. You should discuss with your pediatrician. Obesity is not a common issue discussed with patients by pediatricians, but can have long lasting consequences.
