Partnership issue: There is great evidence supporting the superiority of breast to other feeds for at least the first 8-9m. After other foods begin to become part of the process, the data is less clear. But feeding is not just nutrition, it is a nurturing period. If your kid is quick to finish & wants to get off & explore the day, they may be ready to wean. If you have to chase the kid down to feed, time to wean.
