Any idea on what could be causing internal itching of feet? it is occasional, not constant and very irritating. sometimes i wake up from it

INTERNAL FOOT ITCH: Your feet have no "internals." if the itch is over the soles, the bottoms of the feet, i may be due to athlete's foot, a common fungal infection. See either your general doctor or, better still, a dermatologist.

Could be neuropathy: Internal itching to your feet may be one of many causes including neuropathy, vitamin deficiency, possible side effect of a medication that you are on, and sometimes a side effect of shingles. Please see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.
