If the skin is normal (no redness, no rash or scaly or crack, etc.), you can try lidocaine 4% cream or ointment as needed for controlling itching for a day or two. If the skin does not look normal, you should see a doctor, a dermatologist is preferred, but you can still use lidocaine cream +/- allegra (OTC) for itching in the meantime.
