Tendon vs fracture: If the tip of your finger is bent and you cannot make it straight then you could have a "mallet finger". This could require strict splinting for 6 weeks. A fracture is also possible. Please see an orthopedist for proper diagnosis and care.

Get evaluated w Xray: You need to be seen in an er or by a physician with diagnostic imaging to exclude a fracture and/or dislocation or other causes.
