Yes: Use a removable ankle brace while walking full weight bearing.

NO: Your fracture need to be immoblized and if it is slow in healing you probably should not be walking on it.

Minimal walking: The fibula is a non weight bearing bone. That said i would not walk with out the aid of a fracture boot, ankle brace or crutches.
