A member asked:

Son has aortic regurgitation, and his md recommends blood pressure meds, any thoughts about that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good idea: Ar is improved, will progress more slowly, and do less damage to the heart muscle when certain blood pressure medications are taken routinely, even if the baseline blood pressure is not that high. This is well established through very well done trials. I would agree with the recommendation.
