Yes ASAP: When a dentist places a filling they remove the decayed tooth material and replace it with filling material. When a filling is lost the tooth is exposed without the protective enamel layer and decay can rapidly gain a foothold and cause damage leading to more than just a replacement filling, ie; a crown, root can or even an extraction. See a dentist as soon as possible to avoid expense and pain.
