What does it mean to have a positive ana blood test?

Nada without disease: If you do not have a clinical disease or symptoms then it simply means you have a positive test ( maybe 1/3 of the population has a "positive" test). If the titer is very high ( greater than 1:640) you should probably be followed to see if a disease is developing.
