Not really.: It's common for skin to grow over sutures. It may make them a little more difficult to remove, and the area may have to be numbed up a bit in order to remove them, but it's nothing to be concerned about. You may wish to call your surgeon and ask if he/she wants to take the sutures out a bit sooner than planned.
