Is yellowish skin around my stitches normal?

Blood: This is probably blood which is being digested. If there is no sign of infection or swelling it is part of healing process.

Probably: My guess is it's staining from the cleansing/disinfecting solution used by the surgeon. But it could also be due to the stitches being tied too tightly. Just to be safe, have your surgeon take a look.
