Not sure...: I understand your question. Male or female? Inguinal hernia surgery would not cause one to become pregnant, or reduce a person's chance of fertility or becoming pregnant either.

Doubtful: While anything is possible, and there have been a few reports of this, there have only been a few reported out of millions of repairs. I have had experience where there was a couple with difficulty conceiving, them they got pregnant after the hernia repair.
