A member asked:

How come i have belly cramp after drinking alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Alcohol slows wound healing by creating a imbalance in hydration levels of the skin. Alcohol is a drying agent and forces water and other fluids away from the skin. Thus, it slows wound healing. It causes belly pain by shunting fluids to the liver and kidney, which causes pain.
