Should treat anemia: Significant anemia can adversely affect pregnancy. Pregnancy itself will make anemia worse, which if significant the baby may not get enough oxygen to develop normally. I would recommend finding the cause of your anemia and treat it before becoming pregnant. Prenatal vitamin should be started before conceiving, cont during pregnancy, and after delivery especially if breastfeeding. Good luck.

LOW IRON LEVEL/PREGN: No it will not stop you from getting pregnant, but you need to know the cause of low iron level low iron level is due to to two reasons 1 if you are not eating foods containing iron or not able to absorp from the gut 2 if you are loosing blood through rectum and more commonly in young women heavy periods and irregular vaginal bleeding treatment depends on cause, meanwhile take oral iron to correct.
