Prevent constipation: High fiber foods like multigrains and fruit/veggies are great for preventing constipation. Remember though, without properly hydrating with water, that fiber will also eventually slow down the gut. So, make sure you take fiber and proper hydration daily. Now, fiber supplements like chicory root (fiberone bars), metamucil, etc... Can also be helpful if regular diet does not work.
