will gas x cause constipation? the foods that help avoid constipation often cause gas so i'm hoping gas x can just eliminate the gas.

Not likely: Gas-x (simethicone) basically breaks large gas bubbles into smaller ones that can easily be passed. Common side effects of this drug are loose bm's & nausea.

Not likely: Gasx reduces the gas in the intestine by making it into smaller bubbles. A common side effect is looser more frequent stools. Therefore, constipation is not likely.
