Go back for recement: Go back to the dentist who cemented your crown. He or she will remove the crown, clean out the old cement, clean your tooth, and then use a resin or luting cement to recement the crown. Depending on the condition of the tooth underneath, the dentist may have to treat the tooth with a buildup and fabricate a new crown. Just depends on the condition of the tooth underneath.

Visit your dentist: You should visit your dentist as soon as possible. If your crown or filling is loose, the longer you wait, the more bacteria or cavity may grow which may lead to more problems.

See your dentist: You will need to see your dentist asap to prevent caries form getting started under the loose crown. Sometimes crowns become loose due to recurrent decay and further work may need to be done. Your dentist will let you know when they see you and examine your tooth.
