Dry poo/anal fissure: The failure of stool to transit the large intestine in a timely period will result in excess water removal & bulking at the outlet. Passing a hardened or larger than normal stool thru the anal sphincter can cause a long scratch or fissure in the outtlet. This tends to be on the outside of the movement & bright red.
