Gastric distress : Nsaids such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin can irritate the stomach. Some patients are instructed to take food, or a full glass of water, with these medicines. There are medicines that can be prescribed along with nsaids that also alleviate the side effects of gastritis caused by nsaid. Talk with your doctor about what's best for you.
