Cranberry: Studies suggest that taking cranberry tablets or juice can reduce the risk of utis. Drinking lots of fluid and emptying your bladder before and after intercourse may help, too. If you have 3 utis within a year, your doctor may recommend using a very low dose of an antibiotic when you have sex.
