Why are some people salt sensitive and how do they avoid efffect on their bp?

Watch dietary salt: Some people have salt-sensitive hypertension. It has to do with how the kidney's process and handle sodium levels in the blood (there are a few key hormones produced by the kidneys that control this). The best thing to do is never add salt to your food, and also be aware of high-salt foods: canned goods, processed meats, peanut butter, pizza, tomato sauce, and almost all meals at restaurants.
