A member asked:

What should be done when a ent cleans out someone's ears and they start bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not uncommon: A small amount of bleeding might be no big deal since the ear canal is lined by thin, extremely sensitive skin. I would certainly let the doctor who did the cleaning know immediately and probably go back and allow them to take a second look to make sure there is no problem.
