WHY??!!!??: Why are you wondering this? It is against the law to obtain this medication with out a prescription. What is your purpose other than to get high? Very dangerous and irresponsible so please do not experiment with this medication. Suboxone is a very effective treatment for the right reasons. Very lethal for the wrong reasons.

Opiate Effects: Buprenorphine (bupe), which is the active ingredient in Suboxone is a semi-synthetic opioid. Bupe can cause euphoria, but generally to a lesser degree as other opiates. Bupe is unique as it causes only about 50% stimulation of the opiate receptors compared to other opiates which can cause 100% stimulation. Bupe, for that reason is safer. There are those who abuse bupe in order to get high.
