Perhaps: Suboxone may help depending on tolerance. Your insurance won't pay unless you self identify as an addict. Perhaps an appropriate wean can get you completely opioid free

A lot of factors: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, suboxone is an uniquely WEAK pain drug. First, non-narcotic options should be considered: massage, tens, physical therapy, exercise (yes, to build the surrounding muscles but moreso to increase pain tolerance). Then, there's a spectrum of narcotics from tramadol up to methadone clinics (depends a LOT on other factors obviously).
