Keep in touch: Keep focused on events back in the United States-keep up with your favorite sports teams, watch world news etc. Make phone calls, talk with friends etc. Fly home once in awhile for holidays. Watch movies from home. Go shopping where you are, dont be afraid to try different things. Meet some friends there as well. It will go alot easier for you if you make the best of it there.
