Likely OK..: Voltaren gel is made from an antiiflammatory medicine diclofenac, similar to motrin/aleve etc... Although it is only studied/approved by fda for adult use, i feel that using that topically on a child is safer than taking other medicine (motrin/aleve) orally. Of course, like all other medicine, use smallest effective dosage for shortest duration. Consult doc. Good luck.
