No: Your UTI is probably resistant to macrobid, so you probably need to be on a different antibiotic. Suggest you get urine culture with sensitivities to see what antibiotic you should be taking. Your dr. Might want to switch you to Bactrim or cipro, (ciprofloxacin) whilst waiting for the culture report, if a urinalysis shows that your urine is still infected.
