Magnesium deficiency: Low mag means a true deficiency or relative. I see lots of low back issues and many are linked to tight hams and muscles in the leg/foot. Heat stretching and massage. See a good massage person who will unlock you entire back, gluts, hams, calves and feet. Add in magnesium, epsoms soaking.
