Autonomic n s: Vertigo is one of the many conditions that causes imbalance of autonomic nervous system function. As a result parasympathetic function through vagus nerve increases giving fist to contraction of stomach muscle and vomiting. Blood pressure, heart rate can change too.

Vagus nerve: Is one of the cranial nerves which is affected by motion sickness. It is what causes that nauseous sensation.
