How does the patch work for motion sickness?

Blocks receptors : The patch contains scopolamine which works to block receptors in the brain that are involved with nausea and vertigo. It works in the same pathway as dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) another common nausea medication.

Reduces inner ear sx: The patch has medication (anticholinergic) that suppresses dizziness caused by motion intolerance. It works for 3 days by being absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream.
