Could be normal: Your hair goes through 3 phases-anagen (growth), catagen(transition), and telogen(dormant) phases, which varies based on genetics as well as environment--nutritional status, pregnancy/hormone use, medication, illness, stress etc...If u had baby few months ago or recently stopped the pills, some hair loss is a normal response. Should get better in few months. Consult doc if worsens. Good luck.

Many other reasons: Stress, illness, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, and autoimmune hair loss are only some of the reasons you might be losing hair. Please discuss with your doctor. You may also need to see a dermatologist.
