Yes: Acetaminophen (tylenol) and narcotics (codeine' morphine) are safe for pain relief during pregnancy. Warning: stay below 4, 000 mg of Acetaminophen per day. Overdoses can cause liver dysfunction/failure. Important: narcotic overdose causes respiratory distress/failure. Overdose based on tolerance not specific doses. Note: toxins/infections cause the most damage in early pregnancy as organs form.
