Difference between a surgical, trauma and er doctor ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Difference: Briefly, a trauma surgeon has completed a surgical residency and in recent years additional training in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. This can total about 6-7 years post medical school. Whereas an ed physician trains on average 3 years post medical school and do not have the skill set based on training to perform advanced surgical procedures.
