Different doctor: Trauma center has all the surgical specialities that are needed to tackle a trauma patient. They work in concert with the er physician.

Trauma Doctors: Er doctors only staff the er where a patient is stabilized and triaged. The trauma center is staffed by surgeons, anesthesiologists and other specialists who can provide definitive care to a patient.
