Shin pain: Shin pain after soccer is usually one of two issues. Small tears in the muscle attachments to the bone can give you pain in a traditional shin splint area. This is treated with rest and strengthening. You could also have stress fractures of the shin bones which can also lead to pain. An exam by a physician would help differentiate these.
