Can be prediabetic : Can be prediabetic neuropathy. Especially if there is a family(parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, or other siblings) history of diabetes. In some of these patients the nerves are affected before, the blood sugar, hemablobin a1c, or glucose tolerance tests become abnormal.

Neuropathy: Your doctor should be concerned as this is not normal. One can't always find the etiology but the issue at hand should at least be discussed with you and evaluated.
