Not from teething: Probably a cold but with drooling you need to be sure he doesn't have something like tonsillitis. You should take him to see his pediatrician for an evaluation.

Cough is a concern: Children usually do drool when teething, but the cough as you describe it is a concern. See your pediatrician as soon as possible.

May be related: Teething will definitely cause drooling and sometimes a mild fever. Its doubtful that its associated with a cough though.

Very Unlikely: There is no clinical data to show a causal relationship between teething and cold symptoms such as fever or cough.

Fever and teething: Teething per se never gives a fever. It is usually from an infection. Teething babies usualy put anything and everything they can in their mouth to calm their itchy--- painful gums and cathch an infection that way. See your pediatrician for fever.
