Insufficient sleep: In a perfect world we would not need alarms. Most people sleep through the alarm or press the snooze button because they are tired and have not yet gotten sufficient sleep. The cure to this is to go to bed earlier routinely ensuring you can get enough sleep. Sleep may also be fragmented during the night for many reasons making one tired as well.
