Is there bisphenol a bpa in invisalign or mouth guards?

No.: Most clear aligner based orthodontic systems like invisalign and clearcorrect are bpa free. Most mouth guard materials are as well. Check with your dentist about the specific type of mouthguard material.

No.: Invisalign aligners and retainers do not contain bpa. Most of the mouthguards & other oral appliances made in the usa also do not contain bpa. However, a few us dental labs do use it, and others have their appliances fabricated overseas, so you need to ask your dentist and/or the lab. Most quality dentists wouldn't knowingly use a lab or appliance which contains bpa, but you should ask anyway.

No: Invisalign does not have bpa in it's proprietary plastic (it is a USP class vi medical grade polyurethane). There are so many types of mouthguards, it would be best to ask your dentist regarding a specific mouthguard of interest.

No: FDA approved. Perfectly safe. Don't you think if there was a problem that it would have been spread all over the 6 o'clock news? More important is the training and skill of the provider...see a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist.
