Depends: I am not sure what type of injury you sustained. If it was an ankle injury your ankle may not be stable enough for you to stay safe in heels. Other type of injuries, once healed, may allow you to wear your heels again. Consult your doctor and get a second opinion. Maybe lowering your heel height may be the answer, fashionable and safe too.

What is the injury?: Why didn't you ask that to the doc who gave you the diagnosis? It would depend on what the injury was for example if you were causing arthritis to the first metatarsophalangeal joint, then wearing the heels again could make this problem worse... Maybe, you can wear a lower heel..But need to know specifics first.
