Need an MRI: I would suggest an MRI of the foot to hopeful define the cause of the pain.

Could be: Hard to say from this stress fractures do not show up on regular xrays at first discuss further with your docor perhaps a MRI or bone scan might help ti figure it out.

It is possible.: You may have a tendonitis or a variety of other conditions. Have it evaluated and treated appropriately.
