Can using too much laundry detergent cause you skin problems?

Yes: Detergents and soaps are caustic chemicals. Too much can irritate the skin leading to an irritant contact dermatitis. Studies show that we don't even need detergents in our clothing washers, just the gyration itself cleans the clothes. If you use anything, use hypoallergenic and use 1/2 whatever they recommend.
