Tooth infection: This could be a tooth infection requiring a dental radiograph, possible antibiotic, and maybe a root canal or extraction. You are having a radiating pain probably from the tooth in question. To be sure you need to see a dentist immediately to get the infection under control. Please don't wait.

Abcess: Sometimes an abcess can spread through the tissues and cause swelling and pain, other times they create a pocket of infection or a firm bump and cause pain. Most cases are realated to a necrotic/dead tooth that will need root canal or extraction. You need to see a dentist for treatment and antibiotics.

Infection. Probably from an untreated cavity that has abscessed, or from gum disease. While antibiotics prescribed by your Dentist may be required, actual hands on dental treatment will be necessary. Call your Dentist, report your symptoms, and follow his/her instructions.
